About Me

Cathy Hogarth, Authorised and Accredited Civil Celebrant and Justice of the Peace

My Name is Catherine Hogarth, I am a mother of 4 and a young grandmother of 12. I am an Alternative Celebrant.

I have spent my working life in Queensland Health, relating to people of all ages and backgrounds, as an Administration Officer and Justice of the Peace.

It was a long time desire and dream of mine to become a marriage celebrant. I am very happy to have reached this goal to enable me to share and assist in making your wedding day evening more special.

In recent years I’ve also become a Funeral celebrant, having had my own experience with family grief, I am experienced in providing a sensitive, organised and personalised service to help you celebrate the unique life you have lost.

I am a people person and have vast experience in public relations through my career. I also have had the pleasure of helping my own children organise their weddings.

Let me help you create a magical and unforgettable celebration of love for your special day.

Magic of the Moment

My Philosophy

Living Life to the Fullest

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will.

You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time.

You’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You’ll fight with your best friend. You’ll blame a new love for things an old one did.

You’ll cry because time is passing too fast, and you’ll eventually lose someone you love.

So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you’ve never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend  upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back.

Don’t be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
